L’infinitif est la forme de base de tous les verbes et il termine en "-en" p.ex. gehen - aller, machen - faire, sehen - voir. Il n’est jamais conjungué. C’est aussi la forme qui peut être trouvé dans les dictionnaires.
Quand il y a deux verbes, ils peuvent être connectés sans ou avec "zu" - à / de.
Er versucht zu gehen. - Il essaie d’aller.
Er must gehen. - Il doit aller.
Er geht spazieren.- Il se prommène.
La construction avec "zu" - à / de - et un infinitif, s’appelle une phrase infinitive.
